I’ve stumbled across one or two websites I thought might be of use. I haven’t used them myself so I can’t vouch for how useful they will be but surely they are worth taking a look and making that decision for yourself.
To cut a long ramble short they are websites were you can post your stories, regardless of genre, and receive feedback. From my own point of view feedback is always good especially when it comes to ideas/plots etc.
I know taking that step to put your work out there can be a hard decision to make and the very thought of doing so is scary. But ask yourself this – how is posting your stories on line for others to help you realise their full potential, to help you gage public interest any different to keeping a blog with your personal thoughts and feelings? Is the sense of exposure not the same?
I’m not a quotable authority and nor am I endorsing sites I merely thought I might mention them to others who might be thinking about how to get their writing out there. This is purely my own opinion but... NOTHING VENTURED, NOTHING GAINED.
So here goes... and please feel free to mention any others that people can think of or know of.
